CHILDREN SHOULD BE SEEN AND NOT HEARD...AND CATS AND DOGS TOO....

That dog in the neighbouring block of flats has been barking non-stop for 2 nights and is irritating me to death.

And not so long ago, it was the cat in heat at the void deck.

Then before that, it was the crying baby in goodness-knows which apartment.

I guess when one lives in older HDB flats with abysmal acoustic insulation, it is natural to wish that the old adage about "XX should be seen and not heard" can be applied to just about every living being in the vicinity....at around 12 midnight.
