SB-SICKNESS

I was browsing Lydia Teh's "My Kitchen" website when I felt this strong sense of missing SB. Not sure why reading and looking at yummy foods and recipes would elicit that response. Probably because the stuff featured on Lydia's blog were mostly familiar Asian/Chinese home-cooked goodies and also many Japanese dishes, since her husband is a Japanese. All which made me think of homesickness and then SB for some reason.

Perhaps it also had to do with SB's liking to make special breakfasts for the family now and then, and her surfing for special recipes to do so.

Its been slightly over a week and I think SB has settled in Tokyo somewhat. I know she is missing home a great deal. Well, on normal days when I have things to occupy my mind, I get by, but on Sundays when I have nothing much to do, I do miss her and her crappiness. The house is a much quieter and serious place without her ditziness and silliness. Sometimes that is good though. :) The rest of us need a bit of that now and then to lighten up the atmosphere, especially since the only male in the family is now kind of prone to hissy fits in his old age.

Well, I just have to get used to it already.....
